In the upcoming independent film Moonfall, a science fiction space film, Patrick Wilson, wears Omega’s latest Moonwatch.
The premise of the film is that the Moon is knocked from its orbit by an unknown force and put onto a collision course with Earth. Astronauts and conspiracy theorists work to attempt to prevent a disaster. The sci-fi thriller from Independence Day director Roland Emmerich stars Patrick Wilson who plays a former NASA astronaut in the film.
Moonfall, premieres in theaters and IMAX on February 4th and also stars Halle Berry, John Bradley, Michael Peña, Charlie Plummer, Kelly Yu, and Donald Sutherland. The film was shot in Montreal, starting in 2019, and with a $140 million budget, it’s one of the most expensive independently-produced films of all time.
