Every year, Rolex and Tudor’s new watch introductions are the talk of the town — this year’s not going to be any different.

Whether the releases are what consumers have been asking for is beside the point. We’ll all be checking to see what Rolex, and its sister brand Tudor, introduced — because it’s just what watch fanatics do every year. It’s not a gimmick or anything designed to trick or control consumers, watch executives, or the press, instead, it’s a beloved annual tradition and has been for as long as I’ve covered the watch industry.

Most introductions from the year are dropped at the start of Watches and Wonders Geneva (previously at Baselworld), though not all the releases are publicly announced. In recent years, a few key introductions have been presented quietly, such as Rolex did with the new green color hue for the Submariner Kermit in 2023. Additionally, and uncharacteristically, in 2023 Rolex also released the Daytona Le Mans Anniversary Edition a few months after its debut at Watches and Wonders 2023.

Here are our Rolex and Tudor predictions for 2024, including three CGI mock-ups we commissioned from designer Muhammad Shahrukh, with no claim that we think any of these will come true — this is simply what we hope might become true, what we speculate might be introduced, and what others suggest could be announced.

2024 Rolex and Tudor Predictions

Rolex Submariner White Dial (Rolex made the white dial Submariner Ref 6536 in the 1950s nicknamed the “Albino” and we mocked up a modern version)

Tudor Pelagos GMT “Coke” (mock-up pictured)

Tudor Big Block Chronograph (highly probable considering Tudor recently started sponsoring motor racing and made a prototype for the postponed Only Watch 2023 auction)

Rolex GMT-Master II (new color variation)

Rolex Daytona RLX Titanium Gray Dial (mock-up pictured)

Rolex Submariner RLX Titanium (with the Yacht-Master 42 being offered in RLX Titanium last year, it will inevitably reach other models)

Designs by Muhammad Shahrukh.
