Tudor’s latest Metas Master Chronometer certified movement features the companies existing traversing balance bridge design, with dedicated sun laser finishing, including the Master Chronometer hallmark on its bridges.

It also features the distinctive laser radial grooving with sand-blasted details. Its bridges and mainplate have alternate sand-blasted and polished surfaces and laser decorations.

The caliber MG5602-U rotor is openworked and has a monoblock tungsten rotor that winds in both directions.

In order to be Metas certified, the MT5602-u has to be Swiss-made and pass the standard COSC certification of -2/+4 seconds per day pre-casing. It must function smoothly even when exposed to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gausses. It has to be tested at two temperatures, in six different positions, and at two different levels of power reserve: 100% and 33%.

After being cased up, in a fully assembled watch, the accuracy must be 0/+5 seconds per day to meet Metas Master Chronometer standards.
