In September of 2011, the world’s oldest watch manufacture, Vacheron Constantin, opened their first-ever boutique in North America. The store sits on the prestigious Madison Ave (at 64th street), and acts as a flagship point of sale and service facility for the brand.

Earlier this month, I had the pleasure of visiting the store and meeting with the very knowledgable and friendly management and staff, including the on-site expert watchmaker (who can provide a number of basic and high-level repairs in-house).

As you would expect, the two-story location has exquisite interior design details, and most importantly — a wider selection of timepieces than an authorized retailer in the country. During my visit, I was able to peruse the collection, and I photographed five of my favorite pieces for your enjoyment (below).

If you are not in the New York area, it is worth noting that there is a newly opened boutique in Las Vegas, and there are two new locations that will open soon in California as well (click below to learn more).

Following the success of the New York boutique (which opened September 2011), Vacheron Constantin subsequently opened a 2nd North American boutique in Las Vegas (opened July 2012). Coming soon there will be a 3rd North American boutique which will be located at South Coast Plaza mall in Costa Mesa, CA (it will open next month). Finally, there is a fourth boutique currently under construction in Beverly Hills, CA on Rodeo Drive (it is scheduled to open January 2013).
