This year there are 48 watch brands scheduled to exhibit at Watches and Wonders Geneva.

After a number of transition years, where the longrunning SIHH and Baselworld watch trade shows were phased out, a period where watchmakers such as Omega, Swatch, Casio, Breitling, Greubel, Citizen, Seiko, Movado, Tissot, Breguet, Blancpain, Armin Strom, and many other brands, have exited the big trade shows — Watches and Wonders Geneva 2023 will represent almost fifty brands and is by far the most important watch trade show in the world.

This clearly shows that a large portion of watch brands still believe in one big Swiss-based watch show, and a large portion of watch brands believe in their own methods to reach consumers. Not to mention, many brands host meetings and smaller events outside of the Palexpo Center, in Geneva, during the week of the show, to take advantage of all the visitors that are in town for Watches and Wonders.

Whether or not large trade show like Watches and Wonders is necessary in the TikTok era, is irrelevant for now, because the companies that attend still think it’s worth spending hundreds of thousands (for small brands) and millions (for larger brands) to host this massive one-week show.

Watches and Wonders Geneva 2023 takes place Monday, March 27, 2023, to Sunday, April 2, 2023. The first five days are reserved for exhibitors, retailers, press, and VIPS, whereas the last two days are open to the public and require a CHF 70 ticket to gain entry.
