Originally introduced in 2009, the Corum Admiral’s Cup 45 Minute Repeater is now offered in a grade 5 titanium case. The coolest feature of the Minute Repeater Tourbillon is the innovative mechanism that allows the wearer to activate the minute repeater function by rotating the bezel.
Another impressive feature is the smoked PVD-treated sapphire crystal dial which offers stunning views of the intricate minute repeater and tourbillon mechanisms. The hand-wound caliber CO 010 has 29 jewels, runs at 21,600 vph (3 Hz) and has an impressive 100-hour power reserve. Functions include hours, minutes, tourbillon seconds and minute repeater (chimes low tone hours, quarter hours and minutes). The tourbillon escapement and pallets are in silicium, which ensures durability and reliability. The wheels and pinions are circular satin-brushed, the steel parts (and particularly the strike hammers and the tourbillon bridge) are mirror-polished with zinc, the mainplate is circular-grained and bottom bridges are finished with Côtes de Genève.
The immaculate hand-finished movement can be enjoyed through both the smoked sapphire crystal dial and the sapphire crystal caseback. The signature twelve-sided Admiral’s Cup case is in a satin-finished grade 5 titanium with polished horns. The bezel is titanium with a mixture of satin and polished finish. Titanium crown protector, titanium crown with Corum key. Cambered twelve-sided sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Titanium 4 screw open case back with anti-reflective treatment. The dial is made of sapphire crystal has a grey PVD coating and opening on the tourbillon cage at 5 o’clock. Rhodium coated minutes and minute chevrons.
Monochrome nautical pennants representing the hours on the black fitted flange. Corum logo, minute repeater, and tourbillon transferred on the dial. Rhodium coated faceted hour and minute hands with white Superluminova. The strap is black crocodile leather strap (22 mm at lugs, 20 mm at buckle), with a titanium buckle engraved with Corum logo.
