Omega ambassador Mondo Duplantis breaks the Pole Vault world record while wearing a Seamaster.

The 20-year old, Armand “Mondo” Duplantis is an American-born Swedish pole vaulter and was already the current world record holder for indoor pole vaulting, with a height of 6.18 meters. Now, he also holds the world record for outdoor pole vaulting with a jump of 6.15 meters on September 17, 2020.

Duplantis broke the outdoor record previously held by Sergey Bubka for an 26 years, and he did it while wearing the titanium Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M Ultra Light fashioned from an alloy Gamma Titanium, a strong yet lightweight material used in the aeronautical industry.
