For fall 2019 TAG Heuer has created two new Aquaracer dive watches with distinctive green metallic dials. The 43 mm Aquaracer Green is marketed to men, and the 32 mm Aquaracer Green marketed to ladies – his and hers Aquaracers.

The 43 mm Aquaracer has a green dial with a sunray effect and raised horizontal lines that run across the dial, made to resembles the wooden docks where sailboats are moored. Prominent applied steel luminous indices, hands, and a white printed chapter ring indicate the hours, minutes, and seconds, along with a magnified date window at 3 o’clock. The unidirectional rotating steel countdown dive bezel has numerals filled with black lacquer and a triangle at 12 o’clock with a luminous dot. This watch is powered by on outsourced Swiss-made automatic mechanical movement. The crown is screwed down, the caseback is screwed-in, and water-resistance is 300 meters.

The 32 mm Aquaracer also features a vibrant green sunray dial, but not with the same horizontal motif as the men’s version. The hours are marked by 11 diamonds, with nothing at 3 o’clock because of the date window, and there is no magnification for the date. The unidirectional rotating steel bezel has engraved numerals that are not filled, along with a lume dot at 12.  The hour and minute hands are luminous, although TAG omitted lume for the center second hand and on the indices. This Aquaracer is powered by a Swiss quartz movement, has a locking crown, screw-down crown, scewed-in caseback, and the same 300 meters of water-resistance as the men’s version.

Both watches come with a sapphire crystal and a stainless steel bracelet and push-button security clasp with diving extension. Retail is $2,250 for the men’s version (Ref. WAY2015.BA0927) and $2,150 for the lady’s version (Ref. WBD1316.BA0740).
