This month, Geneva-based watchmaker F.P. Journe opened its eleventh mono-brand boutique — in London.

With ten boutiques already established in prestigious cities around the world including g Tokyo, Hong Kong, Miami, Beirut, Kyiv, Geneva, Paris, Los Angeles, Dubai, and New York — F.P. Journe adds London as another essential destination to its retail mix.

The brand — named after its founder François-Paul Journe — has come a long way since opening its first boutique in Tokyo in 2003. F.P. Journe relocated its longstanding Upper East Side boutique to SoHo earlier this year and now continues the expansion with its new Mayfair historic district 33 Bruton Street address, where it has retrofitted a space in an eighteenth-century building, located between Berkeley Square and New Bond Street.

With this new location, F.P. Journe further solidifies itself as one of the preeminent high-end watch brands in the world. And even with a predicted economic slowdown in the watch business for 2024, this is one watchmaker that will likely not be negatively affected, because demand genuinely outstrips the supply.
