The Swiss-made ETA caliber C07.111, aka Tissot Powermatic 80, is based on the well-known ETA 2824-2. The Swatch Group owns Tissot and ETA and varied the design from this one to create something unique without building the movement from the ground up. A version of this movement is also used in Swatch-owned Certina and Mido watches.
