Nothing really new to see here, just an additional dial color variation to Tissot’s upmarket PRX Chronograph.

The Blue Panda PRX Chronograph is delivered in the same 42 mm x 14.5 mm stainless steel case as before. The same dial layout, the same Valjoux A05.H31 automatic chronograph movement, and the same integrated steel bracelet.

Similar to Vacheron Constantin’s marketing plan, which so far in 2023 has consisted of a new panda color scheme dial being added to an existing chronograph collection, Tissot, is following the same route. Though instead of a true white panda dial with black counters, Tissot chose dark blue counters.

With a vertical brushed silver-white background and triple dark blue counters, baton-shaped hands and applied indices, and a date aperture at 4:30, the look is rather classic and will likely appeal to those who like the PRX Chronograph but did not want the gold accents of the original Panda dial, or the white on blue, reverse Panda style, both which came out in 2022.

The PRX Chronograph Panda Blue (Ref. T1374271101101) has a sapphire crystal on the front and back, 100 meters of water resistance, and a 4Hz automatic 27-jewel Valjoux chronograph movement with 60 hours of power reserve for $1,825.
